OUR PROCESSES
From mine to port, Mineastra manages the entire supply chain with precision. We source directly from trusted partner mines, followed by grading and sorting at the stockyard, controlled crushing and sizing, secure packaging, and dispatch for export. Our State of the art production capacities can process 1.1 million MT p.a. of Quartz of all sizes/1.2 Million MT p.a. of Quartzite/Quartz of all sizes. We are proud to have one of the biggest annual production of Quartz in India.
Our processing plant is spread over 10000 Sq meters land. Our storage facility and warehouses are spread over 5000 Sq meters land. We have built our warehouses very efficiently, to store the minerals and preserve their quality even among the adverse weather or outside conditions.
The state of the art processing facilities are equipped with modern technologies, spread over multiple locations
Each shipment is containerized in 25 MT lots for global buyers. With reliable capacity of 8,000–10,000 MT/month for Quartz and 2,500–3,500 MT/month for Feldspar, we ensure bulk volumes are shipped on schedule without compromise

INDUSTRIES SERVED
-
When blended with clay, feldspar lowers the melting point and quartz adds hardness — together they form the backbone of ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, insulators, and tableware. These minerals give ceramics strength, durability, and a smooth finish
-
Quartz sand is the primary ingredient in all types of glass — float glass for buildings, container glass for bottles, specialty glass for automotive and solar. Feldspar enhances workability, while high-purity silica makes optical and solar glass possible.
-
Quartzite and feldspar are vital in high-temperature refractories. They withstand extreme heat inside furnaces, kilns, and boilers — ensuring strength, insulation, and durability in steel, cement, and power plants.”
-
Quartz acts as a flux and reductant in ferro-silicon and silicon-manganese production. Its consistent silica content makes it indispensable for alloy steelmakers and foundries across India and the world.
-
Quartz sand is used in concrete, plaster, and flooring. Feldspar improves bonding in specialty cements, while quartzite adds strength to building aggregates — enabling stronger, longer-lasting structures.
-
High-purity quartz is the raw feed for semiconductors, fiber optics, and solar wafers. From smartphones to solar farms, quartz underpins modern electronics and renewable energy.
-
Micronized quartz powder is used as a filler in paints, coatings, and adhesives. It improves abrasion resistance, chemical stability, and gives paints smoothness and durability
-
Processed quartz sand is used as a filtration medium to purify drinking water and wastewater. Its natural hardness and uniform grain size make it a global standard for water treatment plants
-
Quartz powder and grits are the core raw materials for engineered stone surfaces. Combined with resins, they become countertops, flooring, and wall cladding — offering durability, beauty, and consistency
-
Quartz and feldspar are melted into sodium and potassium silicates — key chemicals used in detergents, adhesives, water treatment, and catalysts. They are also precursors for advanced materials like silica sol and zeolites
-
High-purity quartz is the foundation for polysilicon used in solar wafers and photovoltaic panels.
